Blindfold Maze
Blindfold Maze
This activity highlights the importance of clear communication, problem-solving, and the ability to trust in teammates for guidance.
What: It’s time to collaborate without sight! Teams attempt to assemble a tent with some
members blindfolded. This relies heavily on clear instructions, trust, and patience as participants overcome the obstacle of limited vision.
Why: This activity highlights the importance of clear communication, problem-solving, and the ability to trust in teammates for guidance. It promotes empathy and a greater
appreciation for collaboration.
How: Provide a tent and blindfolds. Designate some members as “guides” and others as “builders.” The goal is for the team to successfully erect the tent with the builders working
while blindfolded.
